Under Anne Strehl’s medial eye Strotter Instruments gives new life to converted record players. At the bar the farmer in a suit generates dense sound structures through single rhythms based on five prepared lencos. The sound bodies that seem anachronistic and their object-like character play double: the installation on the bar is optically impressive, however the ongoing development of the sounds catch the attention. Anne Strehl opposes that as a detail-loving observer.
